A Dispensary Where Everybody Knows Your Strain

Rockland County's government seat sits right in New City, and there's something fitting about that when you consider how central this area is to daily life for so many residents. We wanted a New City dispensary destination to feel just as woven into that daily rhythm, not like an outlier you have to go out of your way for.

The people working our counter aren't temps. They're the same faces you'll see visit after visit, cross-trained across the whole store so whoever helps you actually knows what they're talking about. Decisions about what lands on our shelves are made as a group, drawing on everyone's experience rather than one buyer's personal taste.

That commitment to being part of something bigger than a transaction shows up outside the store too. Our summer concert series offers local vendors a spot to set up, and we partner with other Rockland County businesses throughout the year on cross-promotions. Supporting a dispensary New City locals have come to rely on means supporting a business that puts real effort into the county it calls home.

What’s On the Shelves

Every product on our shelves earns that spot through real testing, not a sales pitch from a distributor. We built our dispensary near New City that so many shoppers rely on for variety, giving small, independent brands the same consideration as the big names. In fact, some of the best finds come from producers that larger chains skip entirely.

On our shelves:

  • Flower — a range of profiles, so there's something for a heavy hitter or a lighter night in
  • Pre-Rolls — convenient 1g singles, grab-and-go ready
  • Edibles — packaged favorites like Wyld
  • Vapes & Concentrates — Doobie Labs, Roemer Farms, Pearls by Gron, Fyre, Papa & Barkley, and Soft Power Sweets
  • CBD — High Falls and Kush Queen, for anyone who wants a lighter option

Pricing, simplified:

  • Bucket model: $25, $35, $45, $60
  • Out-the-door pricing, 13% NY cannabis tax already included
  • No surprise math and no awkward pause at checkout

Make a Day of It: New City, NY

As the seat of Rockland County government, New City blends small-town character with a variety of local landmarks worth exploring. From a Revolutionary-era farmhouse to a professional ballpark, there's plenty to fill a day around town. A visit to any of these popular spots pairs easily with a stop at a dispensary near New City.

Ella New York

Ella New York has been run by the Triantafillides family on South Main Street for years, serving Italian and Greek dishes from recipes passed down through generations. The menu spans wood-fired pizza, Greek specialties like souvlaki and spanakopita, and Italian classics, with everything made to order rather than pulled from a steam table.

Kennedy Dells Park

This 179-acre county park once belonged to Paramount Pictures founder Adolph Zukor, who purchased the land in the early 1900s, hoping to build New City into "the Hollywood of the East." Today, its trails wind past the stone ruins of an old bridge along Crum Creek, with a fitness trail, horse corral, and cross-country skiing rounding out the grounds.

Historical Society of Rockland County

Headquartered on a four-acre site, the Historical Society preserves the county's history through a museum and the 1832 Jacob Blauvelt House, a brick and sandstone farmhouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guided tours of the house reveal period furnishings and an open-hearth kitchen, while the adjoining 19th-century barn holds farm tools and a working blacksmith shop.

New York Boulders / Clover Stadium

Clover Stadium in nearby Pomona seats over 6,300 fans and has served as the home field for the New York Boulders of the independent Frontier League since 2011. The ballpark also hosts several college baseball programs and Field of Screams, a Halloween-season event that’s been run there since 2015.

The Burger Loft

Brothers Kirk and Dimitri Theofanides, third-generation restaurateurs, opened The Burger Loft on South Main Street, grinding beef on-site daily and hand-cutting fries from Idaho potatoes. The brewpub pours rotating craft beer from District 96 Brewery alongside a menu built entirely around burgers and shakes made to order.

Cropsey Community Farm

Cropsey Community Farm sits on 24 acres of preserved farmland, purchased by Rockland County and the Town of Clarkstown to keep the land working rather than being developed. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property includes a historic barn and greenhouses, with an on-site farm stand selling organic produce grown right on the grounds.

New City Dispensary Cannabis Guide

We built one of New York's most rewarding loyalty programs before we ever paid for an ad, and that priority still guides how we operate today. Anyone comparing our dispensary near New City with other options will find a consistent team here, along with a product lineup chosen by people who genuinely understand cannabis rather than a rotating cast reciting a script.

We're located at 296 Route 59, Suite 10, Airmont, NY 10901, next to Dykes Lumber and across the street from the Tallman Fire House. Coming from New City, plan on about 22 minutes via a handful of local roads before reaching NY-59 W.

State law sets the minimum age at 21. For use only by adults 21 years of age and older.

A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID works, such as a driver's license or passport. We also accept out-of-state IDs, so visitors passing through Rockland County are welcome to stop in.

Not for adult-use purchases. Anyone 21 or older can shop without a medical card, but our staff is always glad to help medical cardholders find products that fit their needs.

New York limits purchases to three ounces per transaction. If you're planning a trip to our dispensary near New City to purchase a mix of flower, edibles, or concentrates, the Rockland Cannabis team can help you stay within that limit.

New York's cannabis tax sits at 13%, and we build it directly into every price you see in the store. That means there's no additional math waiting for you at the register.

Costs vary by product and brand, though our bucket pricing keeps things predictable, with tiers around $25, $35, $45, and $60. Watch for rotating deals and loyalty perks that can lower those prices further.

We take ACH, cashless ATM, and cash, with a cash ATM available on-site if you need it. Since tax is already built into our listed prices, there's no surprise calculation once you're ready to check out.

We do. First-time visitors save 10%, and joining High Life Rewards adds two 20%-off coupons that never expire. We also maintain ongoing discounts for veterans, seniors, teachers, union members, and first responders through the rewards program.

Our regulars come from all over Rockland County, including New City, Suffern, Viola, Sloatsburg, and Montebello, plus visitors crossing over from New Jersey along Route 17 and I-287. Curious about the full picture? Our New York dispensary hub rounds up every community we serve across the state.
